The right method for your data
Depending on your requirements, we can:
- Physically destroy the drive with an industrial shredder or degausser, so the data can never be recovered.
- Securely wipe the data so the drive, and often the whole machine, can be reused.
- Destroy media on your premises if it can’t leave the building intact.
A secure chain of custody
Every job starts with a secure collection by vetted We Collect I.T. staff in our own satellite-tracked vehicles. When your equipment arrives at our premises, it is booked into our system and the drives are destroyed.
We then issue a certificate of destruction. If you need it, this lists individual serial numbers and manufacturer details, so you can balance your asset register and satisfy your auditors. The destroyed media are then recycled to recover the materials they’re made from.
