What we collect
When you send a callback request, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number and, if you provide them, your company name, collection postcode, the service you’re interested in and your message.
Like most websites, our web server also records technical information for each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time. We use this only to keep the website secure and working.
How we use it
We use the details you send us to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and arrange any collection you ask for. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.
We won’t use your details for marketing without your permission, and we never sell your information.
Cookies
This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with the providers who help us run this website and our email: our web hosting provider, which is based in the UK, and our email provider. They process it only on our instructions. We may also share information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any work that follows, and for up to two years afterwards unless you become a customer. If you do, we keep records for as long as we need them for legal, accounting and waste compliance reasons. Server logs are kept only briefly, for security.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it or restrict how we use it. You can also object to us using it. To use any of these rights, email info@wecollectltd.com.
